Fees for Service Revision (Posted May 28, 2025)
Please take notice that the Mineral County Board of Health, during the May 12, 2025 Board of Health Meeting, approved a revision to the Fees for Service Schedule with a proposed effective date of September 1, 2025. The fees are to be used for the purpose of conducting the public health programs for which the fees are collected and no portion of these fees will be used for any purpose outside the authority of the Mineral County Board of Health. There will be a thirty (30) day comment period beginning June 3, 2025 and ending July 2, 2025. Copies of the regulation can be obtained at the Mineral County Health Department during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. THIS NOTICE IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE IN THE FORM OF A LEGAL NOTICE.
Health Department Breaks Ground (Posted April 1, 2025)
The Mineral County Health Department annex project is underway. The 5600 ft2 facility will house a 2 door garage bay for mobile unit storage and for drive through vaccination and testing clinics. The clinic will support vaccine storage and negative pressure rooms. A conference room has been added to support community events and usage as a shelter in disaster response. The facility has a projected completion date of March of 2026.
