Recommended Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule
Children 0 to 6 yrs of age
Children 7 to 18 yrs of age



Adult Vaccinations:
Vaccines offered include flu, pneumonia, Td (Tetanus, diphtheria), Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B. Vaccines for travelers are also available by request. Fees do apply for these vaccines. Call the Health Department for further information and/or to schedule an appointment.

Immunizations Program

Immunizations for preventable childhood/adult diseases are available for eligible children and adults during our regular immunization clinic hours (see Calendar of Events) or call us for an appointment.

Children Vaccinations:
All Children through 18 years of age are eligible for VFC vaccines. All clients must have the appropriate designation in order to qualify for the vaccine Prevnar and Menactra.

  • West Virginia Law will require Tdap booster, & Meningococcal/ Meningitis for students entering 7th grade beginning in the 2013 – 2014 school year.
  • A second meningitis (booster) is recommended for 16-18 year olds if only one dose of Meningitis was given between the ages of 11-15.
  • We encourage all 11 year olds to get Gardasil/HPV/Human Papillomavirus Vaccine, and Varicella/chickenpox booster
